Mark Romoff is stepping down as president and CEO of the Ontario Centres of Excellence Inc (OCE) effective September 25th after serving a five-year. Romoff came to the OCE shortly after the creation of OCE Inc, a corporation overseeing the various Centres of Excellence that were previously semi-autonomous, succeeding Donald Hathaway (R$, September 28/04). He was previously at the Ontario office of Industry Canada where he was responsible for the department's provincial economic agenda and also held several positions as a member of the Canadian foreign service with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade….
