Mark Lievonen, president of Sanofi Pasteur Ltd, has been appointed chair of the board of directors for Canada's Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies (Rx&D) for 2013-14. Lievonen joined Sanofi Pasteur in 1983 and held a number of senior positions before being named president in 1999.
