John Molloy has been appointed executive chairman of ABcann Medicinals, a Napanee ON-based developer and grower of medical marijuana. Molloy was president and CEO of PARTEQ Innovations — the technology transfer arm of Queen's Univ — for more than 27 years before stepping down last year (R$, June 21/13). (He was replaced on a permanent basis in March by Jim Banting). The ABcann appointment is the second Molloy has accepted since leaving PARTEQ.
