Hector MacKay-Dunn has been appointed chair of the BC Innovation Council (BCIC). MacKay-Dunn is a lawyer with more than 25 years of experience and is a senior partner with Farris, Vaughan, Wills & Murphy. His expertise lies in advising senior public and early-stage private companies in industries such as semi-conductor, software, e-business, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. MacKay-Dunn is a director of several organizations including Genome British Columbia, Aspreva Pharmaceuticals Corp, BC Leading Edge Endowment Fund and BC Biotech. He is a member of the Univ of British Columbia’s advisory council to the science dean.
