Dr Thomas Axworthy has been appointed chair of the board of directors for the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, a private non-profit organization with a mission to assist Canadian understanding and economic success in the Asia Pacific region. The Foundation also houses the forum of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, which promotes collaborative research.
