Dr Pat Jamieson has been appointed chief of technology for Nexen Inc, an energy and chemicals company based in Calgary. He will be responsible for Nexen’s new engineering technologies for its global oil and gas production operations. Jamieson has held a number of senior energy S&T positions, including VP of the Saskatchewan Research Council’s energy division, president of Edmonton-based C-FER Technologies and VP energy, Albert Research Council.
