Dr Malcolm King has been appointed scientific director of the CIHR Institute of Aboriginal People's Health, effective January 1/09. King is a member of the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation and a professor and senior scholar in the Univ of Alberta's department of medicine. A founding member of CIHR governing council (June 2000 to June 2004), he replaces Dr Jeff Reading....
