Dr Irwin Itzkovitch

Dr Irwin Itzkovitch has been appointed ADM of Natural Resources Canada's earth sciences sector, effective December 4. Itzkovitch joins NRCan from the International Council on Metals and the Environment where he served as executive VP environmental stewardship. He has enjoyed a long career in the Canadian mineral sector, including stints with INCO, Eldorado Nuclear, Sherritt Gordon and Noranda Inc, where he was senior VP of shared business services and chief technical officer. Itzkovitch received a PhD in chemistry in 1970 from Queen's Univ and attended the executive management program at the Univ of Western Ontario's business school. He is a member of the Council of Science and Technology Advisors....
