Dr Gregory Fahlman has been appointed DG of the National Research Council’s Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics. Fahlman was previously executive director of the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope, a collaboration between the NRC, the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique of France and the Univ of Hawaii.
