Dr Darren Lawless

Dr Darren Lawless has been appointed to the newly created position of dean of research at Sheridan Research, the technology commercialization arm of the Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Toronto, effective November 16th. Prior to joining Sheridan, Lawless was director of R&D at Mississauga ON-based Monteco Holdings Ltd, a company that identifies, builds and often spins off new technology start-ups in the water, environmental and chemical industries. At Sheridan, he will be responsible for working with faculty to identify and assist in the commercialization of promising R&D in the areas of manufacturing, digital media, visualization and health. At Monteco, Lawless will be replaced by Dr Greg Williams….
