Dr Cynthia Goh has been appointed inaugural academic director of the Banting & Best Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (BBCIE). Goh is a Univ of Toronto-based entrepreneurial academic with several appointments in the departments of chemistry, materials science and engineering and the Munk School of Global Affairs. She is also the founding director of the Impact Centre, a U of T-based campus-linked accelerator (CLA) – one of 10 coordinated under BBCIE which recently relocated to the MaRS west tower. Goh also created Entrepreneurship 101, a training program at MaRS accessed by 20,000 people annually.
