Dominique Anglade has been appointed Quebec's minister of the renamed Ministry of Economy, Science and Innovation with responsibility for digital strategy as part of a January 28 Cabinet shuffle. Anglade, former president of Montreal International and the centre-right political party Coalition Avenir Québec, is just the second women to head up the ministry and brings strong private sector experience to the position. She holds an engineering degree from École Polytechnique and an MBA from École des Hautes Études Commerciales.
