Deirdre Laframboise has been appointed executive director of the Canadian Climate Forum (CCF), replacing Dawn Conway who is retiring. Laframboise is a 20-year veteran of the not-for-profit sector in the areas of sustainability, air quality, climate change, environmental health, waste management and policy. She holds a master's degree in environmental studies from York Univ and is a two-time certified trainee of The Climate Reality Project. The CCF also announced that its new board chair and CEO is Dr Thomas Pederson, executive director of the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions.
