Conference seeks to finance emerging technologies

Montreal will host the first Emerging Technology Venture Conference this fall. To be held September 14 & 15/04, it aims to showcase the best technologies, projects and companies Ontario and Quebec have to offer in information technology, nanotechnology and robotics. The conference hopes to attract angel investors and venture capital firms from North America and beyond. Backers include a host of financial, and legal firms, advocacy groups and associations.
