Carbon Management Canada (CMC), a sunsetting Network of Centres of Excellence, is seeking industrial and government funding to participate in the Deep Decarbonization Pathways Project, a multi-nation initiative of the United Nation's Sustainable Development Solutions Network. CMC has assembled teams of experts to contribute to future scenarios on energy use and how they could impact Canadian industry. CMC is building on the work of the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy, which was defunded by the federal government last year. CMC's partners include Navius Research, a private consulting firm established in 2011. Results from the first phase of the project will be released at the World Leaders Climate Summit at the UN this September, with phase II results following in late 2015....
