Canada maintains major player status in ATLAS project with CFI assistance

An award by the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) through its rarely used Exceptional Opportunities Fund (EOF) will allow Canadian scientists to play a significant role in a major project being developed at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) facility in Switzerland.
