Bernard Courtois has been appointed president and CEO of the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC), replacing Bill Bergen who held the position for less than one year. Courtois is a veteran lawyer specializing in the telecommunications sector and other regulated industries. Since 1991, he has held a variety of positions at Bell Canada. Courtois has participated in many regulatory, policy and judicial proceedsing that have helped shape the competitive communications marketplace in Canada.
