British Columbia’s Canadian Institute for Market Intelligence (CIMI) has been shut down. The Vancouver-based organization closed its doors March 4 after it was unable to secure replacement funding for sunsetting support it received from the Industrial Research Assistance Program and the business faculty of Douglas College. CIMI was a key supporter of the creation of Leading Edge BC (LEBC), the provincially supported marketing and branding organization for BC’s technology industry.
