BC aerospace sector receives $1-million boost

The British Columbia government has released the first $1 million in a five-year, $5-million commitment to develop a more unified provincial aerospace cluster. The funding goes to the Pacific division of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada. AIAC Pacific will use the funding to increase sectoral collaboration within the province, enhance market access and international trade, develop a globally competitive supply chain, improve the industry's R&D capabilities, gain a larger share of federal funding and leverage provincial training programs to bolster the advanced manufacturing skills base....
