No date set for release of federal lab transfer report

There's still no word on when the report from the Independent Expert Panel on Transferring Federal Non-Regulatory Laboratories will be released. The report was submitted to the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) before the December 31/07 deadline and contains recommendations on which federal laboratories are suitable as early candidates for transfer as well as a number of new governance and management models. A TBS spokesperson says the report remains with TBS president Vic Toews and his Cabinet colleagues but there is no official word as to when it will be released….
