UOIT to establish cybercrime research centre

The Univ of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) has chosen cybercrime for its first research centre. The Centre for Cybercrime Research is currently seeking partners to fund construction and is building collaborative ties with other Canadian and international institutions. The Centre is an outgrowth of UOIT's research in the area of combating child exploitation. Researchers will collaborate to fight Internet-based crime including cyberbullying and child exploitation….
