Univ of Manitoba establishes healthcare innovation centre

The Univ of Manitoba is using a $2.5-million donation to establish a centre for healthcare innovation that brings together a wide range of research disciplines. The George and Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation is supported by a donation from George Yee, who grew up in Winnipeg and now practices pathology in Windsor ON. The centre will bring together the university's expertise in nursing, medicine, pharmacy, rehabilitation, business, system and process design, health informatics and computer and measurement science.
