Boeing creates BC-based data analysis team

Boeing is expanding its British Columbia footprint with the creation of a data analytics lab at its Vancouver and Richmond facilities — formerly AeroInfo Systems Inc until its purchase by Boeing in 2000. Both labs will be re-branded as Boeing Vancouver. The facility will add 50 new positions focused on expanding its suite of advanced maintenance software applications for efficient parts replacement and flight data analysis. BC's aerospace sector employs 8,300 workers and has annual sales of $2.4 billion....
