Rock to join CATA’s town hall meetings

Industry minister Alan Rock has agreed to participate in an unspecified number of events planned for the fall by the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA). The Ottawa-based high-tech industry association announced that Rock has “confirmed his participation” in several TechAction Town Hall meetings slated for September, October and November.

Rock has also provided a briefing to CATA’s executive on the major directions of the so-called Innovation White Paper and his new mandate. CATA has let it be known that Rock will be available to meet with interested CEOs for private luncheons during the events.
