Nova Scotia initiative seeks aerospace & defence skills

A new partnership in Nova Scotia has been created to ensure an adequate supply of skilled workers required for the province's aerospace and defence sectors. The Aerospace and Defence Human Resources Partnership (HRP) combines the efforts of the provincial government and industry to attract and retain talent in the region. Currently no Atlantic Canada university offers an aerospace engineering degree. After a period of deep decline due to the economic crisis, the two sectors are expected to rebound strongly this year....
