Grand Challenges Canada launches Israeli fund

Grand Challenges Canada (CGC) has announced the formation of Grand Challenges Israel to provide proof-of-concept grants for health projects to improve healthcare in the developing world. The new entity was announced during this week's Canadian delegation to Israel, heading by prime minister Stephen Harper. CGI will provide grants of up to 500,000 shekels (CDN $159,000) for successful projects. The first deadline is March 31/14....
