FTQ and CRIQ partner to support SMEs

Small- and medium-sized enterprises in Quebec can apply for $10,000 to several million dollars to bolster their innovation and competitiveness under a new joint program offered by the Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ, the Fonds locaux de solidarité FTQ and the Centre de recherche industrielle du Québec (CRIQ). Called Solution Innovation, the program supports Quebec businesses looking to improve productivity, adopt new production technologies, access new markets or switch to more environmentally sustainable industrial processes. The program also promises a more simplified processes for businesses, including specialized technical expertise and financing for such activities as travel, equipment acquisitions, project-related materials and intellectual property protection….
