CRC announce 253 new and renewed chairs

The Canada Research Chairs (CRC) program has announced $203.9 million in funding for 253 new and renewed chair holders. The funds were disbursed to researchers at 56 degree-granting institutions and include $10.2 million from the Canada Foundation for Innovation for infrastructure costs related to the new chair awards. The CRC web site does not include a breakdown between Tier I and Tier II chairholders and does not distinguish between new and renewed chairs....
