Canada and Taiwan renew S&T MOU

Canada and Taiwan have renewed their S&T memorandum of understand for a third five-year term to continue collaborative R&D in areas such as fuel cells, biomass, solar, wind and nuclear energies, biophotonics and medicine. Bilateral trade between the two jurisdictions has increased by 30% since 1997. The MOU was signed during 2007 Canada-Taiwan Innovation Week, which featured workshops and a series of speeches by Dr Arthur Carty, Canada's national science advisor....
