ASCO receives $7.75 million from TPC for R&D project

ASCO Aerospace Canada is launching a $51.8-million R&D project for high-lift devices for a wide range of aircraft platforms with $7.75 million in repayable assistance from Technology Partnerships Canada. The Delta BC-based subsidiary of ASCO Industries, Zaventem Belgium, plans to develop a cheaper and more efficient production process for the manufacture of high-lift devices such as flaps and will undertake the project in conjunction with researchers at the Univ of British Columbia....
