Wireless technology receives TPC assistance

OMNEX Control Systems Inc, Port Coquitlam BC, has received $7.5 million from Technology Partnerships Canada to launch a $25-million project to apply specialized wireless transceiver technologies to environmental monitoring and process control at waste water treatment facilities. The so-called trusted wireless technologies are aimed at streamlining production processes, reducing costs, reducing environmental impact of waste water treatment, and complying with strict environmental monitoring and protection legislation….
