Vern Heinrichs has been appointed interim president and CEO of ARISE Technologies Inc, a rapidly growing producer of photovoltaic cells based in Waterloo ON. He replaces Bart Tichelman who joined the firm as a board director in 2000 and stepped aside in February/09. Heinrichs has a long history with various tech-based firms, Shell Oil and a mortgage consulting and brokerage company. He has been a board director with ARISE since 2001. Heinrichs holds a MSc and MBA from the Univ of Toronto. Korn/Ferry International has been engaged to find a permanent replacement….
