UW signs MOUs with Brazilian research institutions

The Univ of Waterloo has signed memoranda of understanding with two research institutions in Brazil. The MOUs are with Pontifica Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC), a research-focused university, and National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) , a national institute responsible for promoting science and technology. They will expand upon researcher exchanges, promote scientific events, conferences and seminars in computer science and other disciplines.
