UOIT receives major in-kind automotive investment

The Univ of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) has received a major infusion of in-kind investment to support its new General Motors of Canada Automotive Centre of Excellence. The contribution was made by the Partners for the Advancement of Collaborative Engineering Education (PACE), a corporate alliance that includes General Motors, EDS, Hewlett-Packard, Siemens PLC Software and Sun Microsystems. It includes computer-based hardware, engineering software and student and instructor training and academic support. The investments makes UOIT the sixth PACE Canadian university....
