Univ of Manitoba wins funding for AIDS project

The Univ of Manitoba has been awarded US$22 million over five years to design, manage and administer an AIDS/HIV prevention, care and treatment program in southern India. The funding from the US Agency for International Development is supported by the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. The Univ of Manitoba has a global reputation for the design of programs aimed at slowing the spread of the disease in developing countries.
