TRLabs changes name to TRTech

TRLabs has changed its name to TRTech to reflect its evolution from an applied research organization to one that enables commercialization in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector. The name was previously used for TRLabs' contract services arm although its core strength remains technical development capability relating to applied R&D, proof-of-concept and prototyping projects. The 26-year-old firm has locations in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina and Winnipeg and focuses its innovation activities on intelligent wireless, interactive video services, data analytics, eHealth and ICT security.
