SSHRC funds collaborative research projects

The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council has announced $10 million over seven years for four projects under the Major Collaborative Research Initiatives (MCRI) program. Interdisciplinary research teams will examine the spread of surveillance as a technology of governance in modern societies, major changes taking place in the global labour environment, the global migration of African peoples from the 15th century to the present and the issue of ownership of aboriginal artifacts....
