Six more China-Canada R&D projects announced

The second round of R&D projects between Canada and China have been announced, with six projects receiving $870,000 from Canadian partners. Awarded under International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada (ISTPCanada), the projects were selected from a field of nearly 350 proposals. The first round of China-Canada projects was announced in May/08, awarding a total of $12 million to 20 projects. The latest round was announced by Stockwell Day, minister of International Trade, during a recent Chinese visit....
