Scholarships named after famous scientists

The federal government is renaming the Canada Graduate Scholarships program after four groundbreaking researcher/innovators. Master's and doctoral scholarships in the natural sciences and engineering will now be called the Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarships. Students in the social sciences and humanities will receive J Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarships while health sciences students will receive Sir Frederick Banting and Dr Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarships. By 2006, 5,000 Canada Graduate Scholarships will have been awarded….
