Scholarships named after famous scientists

The federal government is renaming the Canada Graduate Scholarships program after four groundbreaking researcher/innovators. Master's and doctoral scholarships in the natural sciences and engineering will now be called the Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarships. Students in the social sciences and humanities will receive J Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarships while health sciences students will receive Sir Frederick Banting and Dr Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarships.
