Robert Davidson

Robert Davidson has joined the Canada Foundation for Innovation to take up the newly created position of director of programs and operations. Along with a staff of 12, Davidson is responsible for running the CFI’s competitions, seeking out new collaborative opportunities with the granting councils and other research funding agencies and overseeing ongoing review of program evaluations. He comes to the CFI from SGI Canada where he worked for nine months as director of market development, R&D and post-secondary education (R$, October 2/00). Prior to joining SGI, Davidson spent 12 years at the Association for Universities and Colleges of Canada as director of research and policy analysis.
