Raymond Leduc has been appointed president of Bell Helicopter Textron Canada after serving a nine-month term as the firm's VP engineering. He replaces Barry Kohler who was named executive VP at Bell's headquarters in Fort Worth TX. Leduc was previously director of IBM's Bromont semiconductor plant for more than nine years and its director of financial services for six years. High-tech pioneer and entrepreneur Dr Adam Chowaniec died February 13th at age 64. The British-born Chowaniec enjoyed a career spanning more than three decades from the development of the Amiga computer to seminal work at Bell Northern Research and the founding of several high-tech firms including Tundra Semiconductor. More recently he was board chair of Zarlink, BelAir Networks and Solantro Semiconductor and was an influential player behind the formation of StartUp Canada….
