QuestAir launches fuel cell project with TPC assistance

QuestAir Technologies Inc has received $9.6 million from Technology Partnerships Canada (TPC) as part of a $32-million R&D project to reduce costs and increase efficiency of fuel cells and hydrogen infrastructure.The assistance will help the Burnaby BC-based firm meet its aggressive targets for market entry and boosts TPC’s overall support of fuel cell technology to $70 million. The QuestAir project is design to further develop its fast-cycle pressure swing absorption technology underpinning its hydrogen purification products. The TPC support is also consistent with the key steps identified in the Canadian Fuel Cell Commercialization Roadmap released earlier this year (R$, April 16/03)...
