Precarn launches national nanotechnology network

Precarn Inc has unveiled a nanotechnology R&D network and joined with NanoQuébec, which is also rolling out support programs for demonstration projects. Precarn is committing an initial $700,000 to the new network, designed to establish a broader national approach to stimulating commercially viable, industry-led nanotech R&D. With NanoQu‚bec, Precarn will promote collaborative projects between researchers in Quebec and other provinces, by supporting non-Quebec partners in NanoQu‚bec's program. Precarn also plans to use its funding to collaborate with other organization, such as the National Institute for Nanotechnology in Edmonton....
