Peter Matthewman

Peter Matthewman has been appointed VP business development of Performance Plants Inc, a Kingston ON-based developer of genetically modified plant crops. He has extensive experience in agri-business and technology commercialization at the Alberta Research Council (ARC) where he was VP life sciences. At ARC, he was responsible for research, commercialization and manufacturing of human nutraceuticals, plan biotechnology and commercial fermentation. Matthewman also gained experience in policy development for technology commercialization through his membership in organizations such as Bio Alberta, the Institute of Molecular Agrobiology (Singapore) and the Alberta Heritage Fund for Medical Research….
