Paul Dufour has been appointed to the board of external advisors of the new Battelle Centre for Science and Technology Policy. Dufour is a fellow of the Institute for Science, Society and Policy at the Univ of Ottawa and principal of PaulicyWorks, a science policy consulting firm in Gatineau QC. He recently retired from the public service after more than three decades in which he held a wide range of S&T policy positions with Industry Canada (and its precursors), Natural Resources Canada, the International Development Research Centre and the former Office of the National Science Advisor to the prime minister.
