Ontario and Israel renew industrial R&D collaboration

The Government of Ontario and Israel's Office of the Chief Scientist have extended the Ontario-Israel Collaboration Program (OICP) with each side contributing $3 million over five years. This is the second time OICP funding has been renewed since the program was established in 2005 when the two parties signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Industrial and Technological Research and Development Cooperation. To date, OICP has funded 15 joint R&D initiatives, leveraging $16.7 million from other sources and generated $52.5 million in revenue for participating companies.
