Ontario and China launch research fund

The new Ontario-China Research and Innovation Fund has launched its first call for proposals for bilateral projects in the areas of neuroscience and water and water-related technologies. The fund was established following the signing of an agreement on research and innovation cooperation between the Ministry of Research and Innovation and the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. Each side is contributing $1 million to the initiative and will conduct parallel application processes. Ontario researchers are eligible to receive between $250,000 and $500,000 per project with a deadline of May 12....
