Ocean Nutrition Canada sold to Dutch firm

Ocean Nutrition Canada (ONC), one of Atlantic Canada's largest homegrown R&D-intensive companies, has been sold to Royal DSM, Heerlen Netherlands for $540 million. Halifax-based ONC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Clearwater Fine Foods and the world's largest supplier of Omega-3 EPA/DHA ingredients to the dietary, supplement and food manufacturing industries.
