NSERC opens second regional office in Winnipeg

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) has opened the second of five planned regional offices in Winnipeg to better serve the three Prairie provinces. The Prairie Regional Office is located at the National Research Council's Institute for Biodiagnostics close to the Univ of Manitoba (U of M). It will be headed up by Ray Hoemsen, VP applied research at Red River College and former director of the U of M's industry liaison office. The first NSERC regional office opened on the campus of the Univ of Moncton last year (R$, October 24/05)....
