The National Research Council's Canadian Photonics Fabrication Centre has entered a strategic partnership with Quebec City-based TeraXion Inc to develop and fabricate the firm's new modulator products for optical components. Tera-Xion's new modulator concept will use a proprietary design to achieve low-power consumption and high modulation speeds required for transmission speeds of 100 Gb/s and more....
